چکیده
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic neuroinflammatory demyelinating disorder of the central nervous system with unclear exact etiology. The experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) model in C57BL/6 mice most common animal for MS sharing many clinical and pathophysiological features to expand our knowledge on pathophysiology disease develop novel treatment strategies. current study was planned evaluate effect EAE hematologic plasma total protein albumin levels mice.
induced myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG35-55) peptide female mice. clinically caused paralyzed tail, hind limb paresis, uncoordinated movement EAE-induced hematologically had mild increase white blood cell count without altering neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio but no change vital hematological parameters such as red count, packed volume, hemoglobin level. Moreover, produced rise level an attenuation In conclusion, findings show that might not cause any significant hematologically, except slight produce changes parameter effects, study, could take consideration terms understanding developing therapeutic approach disease.

Experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis in the mouse.
This unit details the materials and methods required for both active induction and adoptive transfer of experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) in the SJL mouse strain using intact proteins or peptides from the two major myelin proteins: proteolipid protein (PLP) and myelin basic protein (MBP). Detailed materials and methods required for the purification of both PLP and MBP are also des...
متن کاملVitamin D3 influence the Th1/Th2 ratio in C57BL/6 induced model of experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis
Objective(s): Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is known as a progressive inflammatory CNS disease. Cytokines belong to Th1 or Th2 family and inflammatory cells, play significant role in pathophysiology of MS. Thus, any treatment supposed to influence the relation between Th1 to Th2 cytokines expression. Although vitamin D has been prescribed as a therapeutic supplement of MS for a long time, it is not c...
متن کاملP83: Central Neuropathic Pain Development in Experimental Autoimmune Encephalomyelitis C57BL/6 Mouse Model Induced by QS-21 Adjuvant
Central neuropathic pain (CNP) is considered as a complicated sensory disturbance which many multiple sclerosis (MS) patients suffer from. Although monophasic experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) mouse model is a gold standard model in preclinical research of MS, severe movement deficit could confound pain behaviors evaluation over the disease course. In this study, complete Freund&r...
متن کاملA Domain Model of Experimental Autoimmune Encephalomyelitis
Experimentation with simulations of complex systems can be used to gain insights into those systems’ nature and operation. Such in silico experimentation represents a valuable tool that can complement conventional in vivo experimentation. Validation of a simulation’s representation of the real world system remains an open question in complex systems research. As the engineer of a complex system...
متن کاملTherapeutic potential of a novel cannabinoid agent CB52 in the mouse model of experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis.
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a demyelinating disease which causes inflammation, demyelination, and axonal injury. Currently, there is no cure for the disease. The endocannabinoid system has recently emerged as a promising therapeutic target for MS. The protective mechanisms of cannabinoids are thought to be mediated by the activation of the cannabinoid type 1 (CB1) and type 2 (CB2) receptors expr...
